Motrr Galileo and DJI Osmo Mobile

Galileo was a robotic pan/tilt dock designed and sold by Motrr. This company stopped its activities suddenly in May 2016.

Currenlty, Galileo still works with RecoStudio MultiCam, but we cannot guarantee that it will work with future app or iOS updates. Having no help from the manufacturer, we will not be able to solve any compatibility problems, and we will likely need to remove this feature in the future.

If you are using Galileo today, please keep a copy of the current version of the app. In this way, even if the app is updated, you still have the version working with Galileo.

We highly recommend upgrading from the Galileo to either the DJI Osmo Mobile or the DJI Osmo Mobile 2, which performs like the Galileo but is still an active and functioning product.

To use the DJI Osmo Mobile 1 or 2, please follow the instructions here.

To use Galileo, please follow the instructions here below or  watch our tutorial.

  7. The text "Galileo" must be visible on the bottom of the video preview on your iPhone.

  11. Accept the invitation on the iPhone with the Galileo.

  12. On the main switching device, in the bottom-left panel, select the camera corresponding to your iPhone. The video coming from the iPhone's camera appears on the preview window (top-left). The text "Galileo" also appears on the bottom of this preview window.
